En el mes de agosto de 2021, reunidos varios amigos españoles y cubanos , hablábamos de cuál sería la mejor manera de ayudar a Cuba, ante situación de extrema necesidad por la que está pasando su población en estos momentos. Queda por unanimidad la iniciativa de crear una ONG, con fines humanitarios y sin afán lucrativo, para ofrecer ayuda al pueblo cubano. De esta manera nace la asociación “Alas Solidarias con Cuba”, el 15 de septiembre de 2021, y de inmediato entre todos enviamos una primera donación de medicamentos para la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba.
